Who we are
Founded in the year 1986, by Hajee Essop Deen, Mr Bux and Master Cassim- the Chisti Sabri Musjid stands as a beacon of love, compassion, and unity in the heart of our community. We function to provide a place for our Muslim brothers to join together in worshipping our creator and follow the teachings of his most beloved creation, Prophet Muhammadﷺ.
Beyond our regular congregational prayers and spiritual gatherings, we offer diverse services to cater to the needs of our community. Our Musjid hall is available for hire, so whether you’re planning a community gathering, a wedding reception, a corporate meeting, or a religious ceremony, our hall provides the perfect setting to accommodate your needs. Additionally, our vibrant Madrassah stands as a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing the next generation with the core principles and teachings of our beautiful religion. Our Madrassah isn’t just a place of learning; it’s a sanctuary where young minds are cultivated with the knowledge, wisdom, and values essential for a meaningful and purposeful life. Led by a dedicated team of teachers and volunteers who are passionate about imparting the teachings of Islam, our Madrassah provides a nurturing environment where students can grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
